HuPEX

A paper using HuPEX ® has been published in the international immunology journal “Immunology Letters”.

This paper focuses on anti-CD320 autoantibodies that bind to the transcobalamin receptor (CD320), which is responsible for vitamin B12 uptake into cells, and proposes a new disease concept called “anti-CD320-associated syndrome”. Anti-CD320 autoantibodies cause impaired vitamin B12 uptake, leading to autoimmune central nervous system disorders and cutaneous arteritis. It has also been confirmed that high-dose vitamin B12 supplementation is an effective treatment strategy for such diseases.
