ProteoBridge Inc. (Head Office: Koto-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that our CEO, Ryo Kumagai, has been appointed as a Director of the Japan Bioinformatics Consortium (JBIC).
The Japan Bioinformatics Consortium (JBIC) conducts research and development of fundamental technologies in the healthcare and medical fields through industry-academia-government collaboration. Its mission is to widely disseminate the outcomes to various sectors, including the pharmaceutical, IT, diagnostics, chemical, and food industries, as well as academia. JBIC brings together member companies from these industries along with national, public, and private universities such as the University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, and Fukushima Medical University, as well as leading research institutes including the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and the National Cancer Center, thereby building a collaborative research framework to advance innovation.
Through our CEO’s appointment as a JBIC Director, ProteoBridge will actively participate in JBIC’s initiatives and contribute to the advancement of the bioindustry and the social implementation of technology and information.
